What Key Stage 1 covers here
Key Stage 1 is Years 1 and 2. The sheets in this stage concentrate on number bonds to 10 and 20, the 2, 5 and 10 times tables, and column addition where no column reaches ten. That is deliberately a narrow list: at this age the useful work is fluency with small numbers, not covering every topic that appears in a scheme of work.
Every sheet prints at 18 pt on A4, which is one step larger than Key Stage 2 uses. The larger type is not decoration. A five- or six-year-old writing an answer needs a gap that a pencil can land in, and a page of 14 pt questions turns into a page of squashed handwriting.
How Year 1 and Year 2 differ
Year 1 opens on number bonds to 10: nine facts, asked in both directions and as missing numbers, which is enough for a first term. Year 2 moves to bonds to 20 and adds the 2, 5 and 10 tables. Both years default to twenty questions, which fits a lesson starter without becoming a test.
The year buttons at the top of any page change the type size and the question count together, so switching from Year 1 to Year 2 on this page shows what the next year looks like rather than just relabelling the same sheet.
What is not here, and why
There are no shape, measure or money sheets on this site. Those topics need pictures, rulers or coins, and a page of printed text is the wrong carrier for them. What is here is the part of Key Stage 1 that a printed page does best: recall of small facts, and the first written method.
If you are looking for a specific objective from your school’s scheme, the closest match is usually a year page. The Year 1 and Year 2 pages list everything that year offers, and each of those pages has the same generator with the year already set.

- Generate the sheet, then print it or download the PDF.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Which years are in Key Stage 1?
Years 1 and 2 in England. Key Stage 2 is Years 3 to 6, and the KS2 page collects those four years.
Why is the type larger than on the Key Stage 2 sheets?
Years 1 and 2 print at 18 pt, Years 3 and 4 at 16 pt, and Years 5 and 6 at 14 pt. The size comes from the year you choose, so the same layout suits a five-year-old and an eleven-year-old.
Can I print bonds to 10 for a Year 2 child who still needs them?
Yes. The topic is a setting, not a restriction: choose Number bonds on a Year 2 page and the whole range for that year is available, including bonds to 10.
Do the sheets include answers?
Page 2 always holds the answer key for the same questions in the same order. Set Answer key to Off if you want the questions alone.
Is there reading or writing practice?
No. This site only makes calculation sheets, so the only reading on a page is the question itself and the name, date and class line at the top.
Can I use these at home without a printer?
The PDF can be opened on a tablet and written on with a stylus, but the sheets are laid out for A4 paper. If you print at home, choose A4 and 100% scale rather than “fit to page”.
